CSCS - Construction Skills Certification Scheme
CTD offer five Construction Operations courses at NVQ Level 2 which, on completion, will qualify the candidate for a CSCS (Blue) Skilled Construction Operative Worker Card.
The CSCS was set up to improve quality and reduce accidents within the construction industry. The CSCS Cards show that that the holder is considered to be competent at their job and has passed the Health and Safety Test. These cards are increasingly demanded as proof of competency by contractors, public and private companies.
Following a short initial Induction course, which is carried out at one of CTD’s Training Centres, our trained assessors visit candidates on-site to observe their ability to successfully complete the selected units.
